What do you remember?

Our memories are associated with physical spaces. One way to recall them is to visualize yourself in a space. I ask people I meet to draw a “memory map” of areas significant to them.  Their memory maps represent their experience, perspective and thought. Each portrait is taken at a place that exists in their memory map. This project provides me with closure when I must say farewell. As my memories and relationships with people grow, so will this series.
